We have created this line of products to minimize and reduce the waste we produce within our company. We also welcome your donations of old sails and kites and other similar materials. We plan to go back to Bonaire, and we will definitely try to stay here again when we do.Our passion for a sustainable world shines through in every product and service offered at Phish Phaktory. We love our island and want to maintain its natural beauty. Maybe because they know guests will probably be ending the day with wet kit from diving or snorkelling, they also provide a drying rack that can stand under the patio roof that every room has. Thanks to the kitchenette, we could make breakfasts and some other meals ourselves and not have to pay the high restaurant prices. Because it is just a little outside the main area of the town, it's easy to get to in a vehicle, and there was always plenty of parking on the property, but still it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town. The pool was also super clean, with not even a single leaf in it. ![]() Everything in the room looked fresh and clean, with no sign of any bugs ever (which we often encounter in other tropical places). Our room was clean and comfortable, and the A/C worked well. The owners are friendly and accommodating far beyond what one would expect. We just came back from 8 days in Bonaire, and we spent all the nights here. Aqua Viva is a great choice if you want a chilled stay and gives you options for eating in or out and staying in or going out!! If we return to Bonaire we will certainly be staying at Aqua!! … We found the choice of restaurants much better than our visit 5 years ago although not cheap, but didn't feel we had a bad meal! Our favourite was probably Joes around the corner, not a stunning setting but super food and staff! Another favourite was Bon Tapas Bar in Town the food was gorgeous and Sangria very nice too!! On our last day we were able to leave our luggage in reception and Miguel kindly took us to the Airport at our requested time, which was perfect. Supermarket is probably a 20 minute walk and Te Amo Beach (great for snorkelling) a 30 minute walk. Kralendijk is definitely walking distance 10/15 minutes and indeed we did most evenings. Our porch area was a great spot to sit at any time and even with building work opposite felt peaceful! One of our plugs in kitchen didn't work but not a major problem! Very pleasant pool, which we used a fair bit and not many mosquitos, a great bonus as I had been bitten quite badly at our previous property! Plenty of sun beds in shade or sun and other chairs and a hammock!! Although we had a car for all of our stay, we could have managed possibly without as Aqua is so well placed. We had a Deluxe Studio Suite (no 2 ), which is just as in photos, also bathroom was fine with soaps and shampoo. This was definitely our preferred choice! The Owners are lovely and on our first day we were able to leave our food in our unit and could have left our luggage if required. We came to Bonaire for three weeks February into March and stayed at two different properties.
